Yupik Organic Green lentils are dried, whole legumes that are incredibly versatile and delicious! Like pasta, green lentils can be cooked in a pot of boiling, Salted water. Green lentils cook for approximately 30 minutes (tender with a slight bite), or until desired texture. Earthy and mild in flavor, green lentils are also tender in texture. Cooked green lentils can be used as an alternative to meat in recipes; They can also be used as an addition to salads, stews and soups. For best cooking results: 1. Rinse & Drain 2. Add to boiling unsalted water and cook (15-20 mins red lentils, 30-40 Beluga, French, Green & Black Lentils) 3. Season the water once the lentils are soft.
